Blogging about "America's Next Top Model" has certainly been an adventure for me. Actually getting to interview the girls from Cycle 7 and 8 was fun and an honor to be asked to do.

That being said, there comes a time when it feels like something has run its course and it's time to move on, and that's where I am right now with Top Model 411. I hope you've enjoyed following "America's Next Top Model" on Top Model 411 as much as I've enjoyed bringing it to you, but this will be my last post on this blog. I want to wish everyone who reads this a Happy and prosperous New Year and also let you know that you can still follow me on my other blogs Hip Candy, Michelle O. Style, Hip Trip Advisor, and if you're not already, you can follow me on Twitter! It's been fun, and again, wishing you a fabulous 2010!

Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian can't get enough of reality TV! The stars will appear as guest judges in the upcoming season of America's Next Top Model. Selected because of their presence in the fashion community, the two will critique the fourteen girls competing in the hit CW show's 13th cycle.

The former Hills star -- who debuts her LC Lauren Conrad clothing line for Kohl's this fall -- will appear on the Sept. 16 episode. Kardashian, who opened a designer clothing store on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, will serve as a judge alongside host Tyra Banks, Nigel Barker and J. Alexander on Oct. 21.

Other guest judges slated for the upcoming season include runway model Chanel Iman, Seventeen editor Ann Shoket and several petite models. (For the first time in ANTM history, the competitors are all 5'7" or shorter.)

ANTM premieres Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. EST.

Three people were arrested and six others hurt Saturday after bedlam broke out while they waited to audition for "America's Next Top Model," police said.

Police didn't know what prompted the chaos involving hundreds of people outside the Park Central New York hotel in Manhattan. The panic left the street outside the hotel littered with shoes and clothing, according to news reports.

"It was pretty scary," Jessica Paravati told WNYW-TV. She said she was caught up in a stampede after waiting on line overnight, hoping for a shot at stardom on the reality show.

Two women and a man were arrested on disorderly conduct charges, police said. Authorities also shut down the audition, saying it wasn't properly organized.

The makeover show went down on Top Model Cycle 12 and I thought Fo's makeover was the cutest! But of course she didn't love it... she cried when some of the other girls got extensions because she really wanted long hair too. But hello! The short pixie was cute on her! This girl cried at the salon, then she cried on Nigel's photo shoot set, but it wasn't until she came in at the bottom two at the judges panel that she realized she needed to stop being a chump about her cute hair. Jessica was eliminated this week. Isabella was eliminated last week.

Tyra Banks is trying something new and doing away with the minimum height requirement for models (5'9 without shoes). Because for applicants to Cycle 13 of America's Next Top Model, the show is putting in place a MAXIMUM height requirement on its contestants: a whopping 5 feet, 7 inches.

“There have been top supermodels in the past that weren’t as tall as the industry demands, like fashion icon Kate Moss (height 5'6 and a half),” said Tyra Banks in a press release announcing the casting call. “So we are changing up ‘Top Model’ for cycle 13 and making it a year for the shorter model!” Wow.

The NEW season of America's Next Top Model (Cycle 12) kicks off on March 4.

Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky and America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden have been cleared of assault charges stemming from a summer arrest in the Caribbean. The girls and several family members were arrested on July 29 in Turks and Caicos after getting into a fight. "The cases against Nikki Blonsky and Bianca Golden have been dropped," Turks and Caicos Police Sgt. Calvin Chase tells E! News. "The only case that is still proceeding is against [Blonsky's] father."

Carl Blonsky faces assault and inflicting grievous bodily harm charges for his role in the Providenciales International Airport brawl, which left Golden's mom seriously injured. If convicted, he could face up to five years behind bars. Chase did not give details on why officials are not pursuing assault charges against Blonsky or Golden. Blonsky is slated to guest star on Ugly Betty Jan. 8.

The CW is spinning off its hit reality series "America's Next Top Model." The network has ordered a pilot for "Operation Fabulous," starring "Top Model" regulars Jay Manuel and J. Alexander and executive produced by "Top Model" chiefs Tyra Banks and Ken Mok.

On "Fabulous," "Jay and J," as Manuel and Alexander are called on "Top Model," will travel the country giving women makeovers. In various towns, the duo will select five participants and give them "Top Model"-style overhauls -- how to dress, wear their hair and makeup and bring out their confidence with the support of family, friends and their community.

The project, from Kristina Productions, Mok's 10x10 Entertainment and Banks' Bankable Productions, seeks to capitalize on a fan-favorite "Model" segment, when contestants are given head-to-toe high-fashion makeovers supervised by Alexander. Manuel and Alexander have been with "Model" since the series' debut on UPN in 2003. Manuel is the creative director of show's photo shoots; Alexander is a runway expert who has been a judge for the past few seasons.

"Model" airs twice a year on the CW. Although ratings have ebbed in recent years, the reality show remains the network's highest-rated series. "Fabulous" would mark the third fashion-themed reality series on CW from Banks and Mok, who also exec produce the network's series "Stylista," slated to debut Oct. 22, which features contestants vying for an editorial position at Elle magazine.[Source]

Lauren Brie, a 20-year-old student from Charlottesville, VA, became the seventh contestant eliminated from America's Next Top Model's eleventh season during last night's broadcast of The CW reality series. "It sucks when someone takes a blow at your personality," Lauren Brie said following her elimination. "I know that all my friends back at home know that I'm a fun, great person. I just don't have that outgoing personality like a lot of the girls here do. I mean, the drive isn't there anymore, and being in this competition is pretty stressful. Top Model's Bianca Tells Her Side of the Story...

America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden is speaking out for the first time about her July 29 airport scuffle with Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky.

On the October 8 episode of The Tyra Banks Show, she says she and her family were in Turks and Caicos to visit their grandfather who "was dying."

When they arrived at the airport, "Nikki Blonsky ... was very rude to my aunt," Bianca says.

"My aunt had two babies in her arms, and she told my aunt, 'You can leave. You can go away,'" Bianca recalls. "I was really upset by that because my aunt and I are close."

When Bianca spoke up, Nikki turned to her and said, "'You need to mind your business. You don't know what’s going on.' She went off," the model says. "There was a lot of words exchanged. I got really defensive."

Golden's mother, Elaine, then intervened, telling them both to calm down.

That's when Blonsky's father, Carl, approached her, Golden says.

"Before my mom could walk away from us, her father ... punched my mom," Bianca tells Banks. "He knocked her out. He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back, and when she stumbled back, the whole family got up and attacked my mom."

Bianca said Nikki then kicked her mother in the crotch.

"That's when my mom fell ... completely," Bianca says. "Both the families were arguing. It was like a scene out of a movie. Airport security finally came and separated everybody."

All the while, Bianca claims the Blonsky family were spewing racial epithets at them. "Her father and mother started saying, ‘They got rabies, they got rabies!'" says Bianca.

Bianca says her mother confided in her on the way to the hospital.

"She said to me, 'Bianca, if anything happens to me, I need you to take care of your brother and sister,'" Bianca says. "To hear that from your mom... I was freaking out."

After suffering a broken nose, fractured skull and internal bleeding, Bianca says her mother is now in therapy.

Says the model, "She walk now and she’s back."

Nikki and her dad are due in court Dec. 1, where she will answer to charges of common assault and actual bodily harm.

Carl is facing a count of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Sharaun (below) was Cycle 11's first eliminee and she was not happy about it! She displayed such raw emotion when she found out she was going home. She literally dropped to the floor and started hollering and crying. Ok.. maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but not much.

Cycle 11's second eliminee was Nikeysha (below). I haven't seen the 2nd episode yet (I'll watch it a little later..) but Nikeysha got a little combative with the judges on the premiere episode, and she was in the bottom 2, so I don't know if that had anything to do with her getting eliminated on the 2nd show. Anyhoo, those are the two who have gotten their walking papers so far.

I spoke with Whitney earlier and she had a lot to say. I really appreciate strong talkers in interviews because it makes it easier on me, but at the same time, it's a lot to type, lol! But Whitney struck me as a strong woman who knows who she is and what she wants out of life. And she's also someone who's not afraid to go after what she wants. I like that about her. It's a rare quality, courage. People could get so much further (myself included) if they would stop letting fear paralyze them from moving forward. Wow! That was good right? Cycle 8 Top Model Makeovers!

Well Cassandra was eliminated last night, and that was a bit of a bummer, but at least she got her wig upgraded before she was given the boot. See, that's called focusing on the positive. But still, it was a little sad to see her go. I think the rest of the girls took her departure pretty hard as well. I'll be talking to her later to find out exactly what she thinks went wrong. Anyways, the makeovers took place last night and I was all excited! But after everything was done and over, the only makeover I was really feeling was Dionne's. The rest of 'em were just... meh. But I'll tell you who gained major points with me after last nights episode, and that was Whitney! Not because of anything she did in any of the challenges, but because of her compassion toward Jael after Jael found out that her friend overdosed. Whitney prayed with her. On television. Unashamed. What a powerful moment in primetime T.V. Kudos, and Brava! To the CW Network for not cutting that scene. Real talk right there. Ok now, on to the makeovers...
